Field Operations Supervisor
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Field Operations Supervisor* to take the lead in our field quality control, site integrity and regional operational organization. Successful candidates will be talented team managers, as the role centers around establishing and improving execution, evaluation, and communication of ESC policies and practices. This is a hands-on position requiring considerable time in the field. This position will be based out of New York and/or New Jersey.
Job Description
ESC Field Operations Supervisor oversees in-season and out-of-season regional operations taking place in the field. The ESC Field Operations Supervisor responsibilities include training, performance monitoring, planning, analyzing, quality control to ensure that seasonal employees in-storm are working effectively and efficiently. Time management and self-motivation are key. In addition to coaching and motivating employees. The Field Operations Supervisor conducts meetings and prepares analytical reports and summaries for higher-level management. Travel may also be required to regional offices or branches to work directly with them.
*Initial review period 90 days etc.
Requirements
- 24/7 In-season availability
- Enforce ESC Safety protocols for equipment use and on-site personnel including reporting safety violations and misconduct
- Track consumable resources and report equipment status
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to ESC process and procedures
- Onboard, train and evaluate: Site Supervisors, Operators, Drivers and site crews in accord with ESC standards
- Fill knowledge gaps through communication and continued seasonal training
- Assess and evaluate staffing, enforce ESC compliance and projected needs to maintain quality standards
- Communicate effectively with ESC management in a timely manner

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
ESC Field Operations Supervisor position requires snow industry-related experience, plus several years of supervisory experience. Successful candidates must display:
